Organic Pig Feeds

The Vitrition Organic Pig range is comprised of balanced diets allowing optimum protein / amino acid utilisation and ensuring optimal feed conversion. We have a variety of feeding programmes to choose from depending on the scale of production and breed of pig utilised.

The first option is a one / two stage feeding programme. This programme is ideally suited to traditional breed types, those with larger appetites and / or smaller scale mixed enterprises where it will be most economic and practical to limit the number of diets being fed. A starter diet can be fed from weaning to twelve weeks or our general purpose Organic Sow / Grower / Finisher diet can be fed from weaning to finish plus it can be fed to breeding stock.

The second option is more suited to larger commercial farms. There are separate rations for growing and breeding animals within this feeding programme. All diets are precisely balanced, meeting the nutritional requirements of the pig at each stage in the production cycle.

Our Organic Pig Starter ration promotes excellent feed conversion ratios and growth rates during the most importance stage of the productive life. It has been designed specifically to support superior performance in young growing pigs up to 12 weeks of age. Our Organic Pig Grower / Finisher diet has been developed to promote excellent growth rates with careful attention being placed on protein: energy balance to ensure good carcass confirmation and excellent grading potential. Our Organic Sow ration can be fed at all stages of the breeding cycle. It is lower in protein than the grower diets, meeting the sows’ requirements rather than providing a surplus that would be wasted.

Our Organic Pig Feed is available:

• On a 3mm, 6mm or 16mm pellet
• In bulk, 1T tote bags or in 25kg bags
