About Vitrition

Vitrition has been providing organic compound feeds, balancers, concentrates and supplements for the organic sector since 1964. Our site in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire was the first dedicated Organic Feed Mill in the UK. As we only manufacture organic feeds at our mill, this removes the risk of cross contamination of your feed. We are certified with the Soil Association and Organic Farmers and Growers and are UFAS, Marks and Spencers and BEIC accredited.

Vitrition joined the Kiotech group in 2009, promoting growth and expansion of the company with particular respect to our technical team and additional investment for our Boroughbridge site.

Claire Holton

Business Manager

Joined Vitrition in 2004 after gaining a BSc. Hons in Animal Nutrition and Physiology at the University of Leeds. Claire specialises in organic nutrition and provides technical and on-farm management support to customers. Having gained experience in many areas across the business, Claire has taken on the role of Business Manager for Vitrition.

Sarah Osborne

UK Sales Director

Sarah studied animal science to degree level and has knowledge in all areas of livestock nutrition, specialising in poultry nutrition. She has worked in all areas of the Optivite business, acquiring skills in commercial, technical and operational roles. Sarah was responsible for Vitrition prior to taking up the role of UK Sales Director.

Lesley Wilson

Quality Manager

Lesley studied animal nutrition and biochemistry to degree level. She pursued a teaching career before her move into the quality department of Optivite. Lesley manages the quality systems at all production sites.

Trevor Ranson

Operations Manager

Trevor has a very wide experience in the feed milling industry having worked for over 30 years in a number of operations, transport and commercial roles.

Clare Sheeran

Sales and Marketing

Clare studied RSA diplomas at Scarborough Technical College. Clare joined the company in 2007, having previously worked for the NHS. Clare currently supports both the International and UK sales teams and provides all marketing literature.

Kevin McCallum

Mill Manager

Kevin joined Vitrition in 2001 and has had many years of milling experience prior to joining the company. Kevin manages our production team at Boroughbridge and is dedicated to providing our customers with excellent quality feed and service.
